MX External Fulfillment (EF) includes a variety of programs: Seller Flex (SF), Vendor Flex (VF) and Easy Ship (ES). Through this programs, Amazon works hand in hand with a wide range of sellers and vendors to ship products from their warehouses directly to our customers.
The Operational excellence (OpEx) PM is responsible for the continuous improvement through the management of the initiatives related with speed, performance and cost in the SF and ES programs.
Key job responsibilities
- Define/improve processes that allow the SF and ES programs to keep/improve the speed, performance and cost results.
- Be the Operations POC for new projects introduction.
- Propose standardization and improvements through lean manufacturing techniques.
- Manage escalations and difficult conversations in English and Spanish with different stake holders, having always as main goal to keep and improve our Customer's experience.
A day in the life
As a Senior Program Manager, you’ll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programs. You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely, depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks.
Senior Program Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion. - Completed Bachelor's degree.
- 7+ Years of General Experience.
- 4+ Years as Program Manager or similar responsibilities.
- 4+ years of data analysis experience
- 4+ years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience.
- 4+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (C1+).- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- 2+ years of working with external suppliers experience
- 2+ years of data visualization and reports tools experience
