You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and you bring 1-3 years of accounting experience, particularly with exposure to contract review and revenue recognition. Your proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, such as NetSuite, allows you to navigate complex financial landscapes with ease. You possess strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting and compliance tasks. You are capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks effectively, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Your proactive approach and passion for revenue accounting make you an ideal fit for this role.
As a Revenue Accountant at TripActions, you will play a key role in supporting our supplier-based revenue streams. You will be responsible for recording supplier revenue in accordance with GAAP and company policies, and you will support the month-end close process for supplier revenue. You will partner with Finance and Commercial teams to validate revenue terms in supplier contracts, ensuring that all agreements are accurately reflected in our financial records. Monthly reconciliations of supplier revenue accounts, commission receivables, and incentive accruals will be part of your routine tasks, helping to maintain the integrity of our financial data.
You will help maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance in supplier-related transactions, collaborating closely with IT and Systems teams to enhance automation of supplier revenue data feeds. Your role will also involve ensuring the accurate application of revenue recognition rules for supplier contracts, commissions, overrides, and incentive agreements. You will work closely with the billings team on revenue accruals and invoicing, providing documentation and responses to internal and external audit inquiries related to revenue, ensuring audit readiness and compliance.
Cross-functional collaboration will be essential as you partner with GL and AR teams to resolve revenue-related issues and support inquiries. This role offers an opportunity to grow within our accounting team while making a meaningful impact on revenue processes. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
At TripActions, we provide a supportive environment where you can thrive and develop your skills. You will have the chance to work with a talented team dedicated to enhancing our revenue processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development within our accounting team. Join us in making a significant impact on our financial operations and contribute to the success of our organization.
