Reddit is seeking a Strategic Community Specialist to drive community growth in the UK. You'll work closely with local moderators and the Product team to develop community relations strategies. This role requires expertise in community management and operations.
You are an experienced community management and operations expert with a deep understanding of the UK market. You are proficient in English and have a passion for fostering local communities. Your strategic mindset allows you to innovate and refine community engagement initiatives that resonate with users. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy building relationships with volunteer moderators to enhance community experiences. As the Strategic Community Specialist, you will play a key role in jumpstarting and fostering local communities across the UK. You will collaborate closely with the International Community team to implement proactive initiatives that build bridges with local volunteer moderators. Your insights and relationships will be instrumental in refining and scaling Reddit's international consumer playbook. You will be responsible for analyzing community engagement metrics and using data-driven insights to inform your strategies. Your role will involve experimenting with different approaches to community management and iterating based on feedback and results. You will also work alongside the Product organization to ensure that community needs are integrated into product development processes.
