You have a strong background in applied science and machine learning, with experience in designing and developing models that deliver measurable impact. You are skilled in conducting deep-dive analyses and causal inference, allowing you to uncover root causes and identify opportunities for improvement. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with product management, engineering, and operations to drive safety initiatives. You possess a solid understanding of A/B testing methodologies and are comfortable interpreting experimental results to inform product and policy changes. In this role, you will own the end-to-end applied science workflow on high visibility projects, starting from problem scoping to delivering insights that drive safety improvements. You will conduct complex analyses to uncover root causes of safety issues and identify high-leverage opportunities for improvement. You will lead the design and interpretation of A/B experiments, rigorously evaluating product and policy changes before they are rolled out on the platform.
