Zeeco is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage project scopes, coordinate drafting, and maintain delivery schedules. You'll utilize your engineering expertise and skills in AutoCAD to ensure project success in Tulsa, OK.
You have a B.S. degree in Engineering, whether Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a related field, and possess 6-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Your background equips you with the ability to review shop orders and confirm the scope of supply based on customer specifications. You are skilled in coordinating technical and commercial correspondence, ensuring that all parties involved in the project are informed and aligned. You have strong personal computer skills, which you leverage to manage project documentation and communication effectively.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with sales, drafting, and quality control teams to ensure that all project requirements are met. Your experience allows you to establish and track cost budgets for jobs, ensuring that projects remain within financial parameters. You are detail-oriented and capable of maintaining delivery schedules based on customer requirements and company workloads, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience with project management software and tools is a plus, as is familiarity with industry standards and practices. You are proactive in notifying relevant departments about changes in project scope and are comfortable instructing drafting and support staff on necessary documentation.
In your role as a Senior Project Engineer at Zeeco, you will be responsible for reviewing shop order files and confirming the scope of supply based on customer specifications and sales quotations. You will confirm equipment selection and design, performing and coordinating required calculations and sketches to establish equipment design. Your coordination skills will be essential as you ensure that all required drawings are completed and that customer mark-up prints are reviewed and addressed appropriately.
You will establish and track the cost budget for jobs by collaborating with the Sales Department and cost specialists, ensuring that financial aspects of projects are managed effectively. Maintaining delivery schedules will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will need to coordinate drafting, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality control to meet customer requirements.
Your role will also involve informing the Quality Control Department of customer and job specifications, ensuring that all quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. You will coordinate all required technical and commercial correspondence related to the job, including internal communications and correspondence with customers, end users, sales representatives, and outside consultants.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will instruct drafting and support staff on when and what drawings are to be sent to any parties involved in the project. You will also notify the sales and estimating departments when changes occur to the scope of supply, ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed and that project documentation is accurately revised.
