What you'll do

As an Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the operations of our data centers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. Your day-to-day tasks will include performing routine maintenance on critical systems, such as diesel generators, cooling towers, and air handlers. You will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve issues quickly, minimizing downtime and maintaining our commitment to 99.999% uptime. You will also participate in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and reliability, contributing your insights and expertise to enhance our infrastructure. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in the industry, ensuring that you are equipped to handle any challenges that arise. You will be an integral part of a team that supports AWS data centers, working on the most challenging problems in the field.
