Overview

Hermeus is seeking an Engineering Manager - Structures to lead a team in the design and optimization of structural components for hypersonic aircraft. This role requires a deep understanding of structural engineering principles and advanced materials.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in structural engineering, with at least 5 years of experience leading engineering teams. Your expertise in advanced materials and structural analysis allows you to guide your team through complex design challenges, ensuring that all components meet rigorous performance and safety standards. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including those from the Department of Defense, to deliver innovative solutions that align with national interests. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience in the aerospace industry or with hypersonic flight technologies is a plus. Familiarity with compliance standards and safety regulations in aviation will enhance your ability to lead effectively in this role.
