Overview

Amazon is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for their Device Cloud Services team to design and implement high-quality software systems. You'll work with AWS technologies and Java to build scalable solutions for millions of devices. This position requires strong experience in full-stack development.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software development, particularly in building scalable and reliable systems that impact customer experiences. Your expertise in Java and JavaScript allows you to design and implement high-quality software solutions that solve complex problems. You are familiar with AWS technologies and have experience in developing full-stack web applications and distributed systems. You thrive in collaborative environments, working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to drive innovative solutions. You promote a culture of engineering excellence by establishing best practices and technical standards across the organization. You are comfortable consulting with engineers on architecture and design, helping to solve challenging engineering problems.

Desirable

Experience with IoT platforms and embedded systems is a plus, as is familiarity with over-the-air updates and data synchronization techniques. You have a strong understanding of connectivity infrastructure and device onboarding processes, which will help you contribute effectively to the team.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Device Cloud Services team, you will design, implement, and launch high-quality software systems that have a significant impact on how customers interact with Amazon devices. You will leverage a wide range of AWS technologies to build full-stack web applications and distributed systems, ensuring they are scalable and reliable.
