Carvana is seeking an Entry Level Diesel Technician to join their Fleet Maintenance team. You'll work on Class 8 trucks and trailers, ensuring vehicle uptime and safety. This role is ideal for problem-solvers passionate about vehicle maintenance.
You are a dedicated individual eager to start your career as a Diesel Technician. You enjoy working with heavy-duty vehicles, particularly Class 8 trucks and trailers, and have a strong desire to ensure their reliability and safety. You are a problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to learn and grow within a supportive team. You possess a valid driver’s license and are able to communicate effectively in English.
While prior experience is not required, any familiarity with diesel engines or vehicle maintenance will be beneficial. A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges is essential, as is a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in your work.
As a Diesel Technician at Carvana, you will be an integral part of the Fleet Maintenance team, responsible for ensuring that our Class 8 fleet is safe and reliable. Your daily tasks will include performing routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and trailers, diagnosing mechanical issues, and executing repairs as needed. You will work closely with other technicians and team members to maintain the fleet under manufacturer warranty, focusing on preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. You will also have opportunities for internal training, including classroom time for DTNA ARC Certification, which will enhance your skills and knowledge in diesel technology.
