Overview

Samsara is seeking a Director of People Analytics to transform workforce data into strategic business insights. This senior leadership role requires expertise in bridging data science and human resources to drive evidence-based decisions. The position is remote and open to candidates across the U.S.

Who you are

You have a strong background in people analytics and a proven track record of transforming workforce data into actionable insights. With at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, you understand the nuances of human resources and data science, and you excel at using data to inform strategic decisions. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and HR stakeholders. Your analytical mindset enables you to identify trends and patterns in workforce data, driving initiatives that enhance hiring, retention, and productivity.

You are passionate about fostering a data-driven culture within organizations. You have experience in developing and executing comprehensive people analytics strategies that align with business goals. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams ensures that data insights are effectively integrated into HR practices and organizational strategies. You are comfortable working with various data tools and platforms, and you stay updated on the latest trends in people analytics and workforce management.

Desirable

Experience with advanced analytics techniques and tools is a plus. Familiarity with HR systems and data visualization tools will enhance your ability to present insights effectively. A background in organizational psychology or a related field can provide additional context to your analytical work.

What you'll do

As the Director of People Analytics at Samsara, you will lead the charge in transforming how the organization utilizes workforce data. You will develop and implement a comprehensive people analytics strategy that supports the company's goals and enhances decision-making processes.
