AvePoint is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on Java to design and develop exceptional software applications. You'll work with technologies like Java, JavaScript, and various frontend frameworks. This role requires significant experience in software development and agile practices.
You are a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on Java, bringing extensive experience in designing, developing, and delivering software applications that meet customer needs. You have a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines. Your proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, allows you to collaborate effectively in a team environment. You are familiar with frontend technologies such as Angular and React, and you have strong backend development experience, specifically in Java and Node.js. Your knowledge of agile processes and practices, including Scrum and Extreme Programming, ensures that you adhere to high standards of software quality.
You have a passion for software craftsmanship and are committed to improving software quality through practices like code reviews and unit testing. You are self-driven and independent, with strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Your curiosity and openness to new ideas allow you to quickly learn new skills and adapt to changing project requirements.
Experience with mobile app development, particularly in Swift and Android, is a plus. Familiarity with low-code application platforms such as OutSystems, Mendix, Pega, Appian, and MS Power Apps will enhance your ability to contribute to various projects. You are eager to make an impact with your Java expertise and are ready to take on new challenges in a collaborative and agile team environment.
In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver working software applications with a focus on Java to meet customer needs. You will improve software quality using Extreme Programming (XP) practices, including code reviews and unit testing. Your responsibilities will include preparing architectural and technical documents to guide project development and assisting Business Analysts in elaborating user stories to ensure clear requirements. You will collaborate with Quality Assurance teams on test automation and bug fixes, ensuring that the software meets the highest quality standards.
You will also support DevOps teams in build and release automation processes, contributing to a seamless development lifecycle. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development, allowing you to bring innovative solutions to the team. You will work closely with your teammates to foster a collaborative environment where everyone can thrive and contribute to the success of the projects.
