We’re seeking an efficient ICQA Operations Manager to take ownership of our fulfillment center Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA). Our fulfillment centers sit at the heart of Amazon’s rapidly growing operations network: they are where we manage our fast-moving inventory. In each fulfillment center, our teams stow deliveries, pick products, package them up and ship them out; each of these groups have played their part in taking us where we are today.

These fulfillment centers are fast-paced and high reward environments, where adherence to policies and procedures is key. We need the right type of leader to ensure that we deliver as reliably as ever to our customers, while making sure our teams deliver on customer obsession.

Key job responsibilities
Your role and responsibilities as ICQA Area Manager:
• Support safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates;
• Lead and supervise a team in Inventory Control/Quality Assurance operations within the Fulfilment Center;
• Coordinate inventory control maintenance and random counts aligned with network strategies, ensuring SOX compliance and consistency;
• Measure quality, inventory integrity, and accuracy while providing proactive feedback to the operations management team;
• Identify root causes of inventory deviations using cause-and-effect methodologies and implement corrective actions;
• Drive and support network-wide Fulfilment & Operations-focused quality initiatives;
• Manage in ICQA functions and drive team performance;
• Promote process improvements while developing your team’s capabilities to keep pace with our rapid growth, fostering a culture of excellence and engagement.


About the team
The ICQA mission is to prevent and remove customer-facing defects with the goal to provide a world class service to our customers, at the lowest possible cost. The Vision of ICQA is to exceed customers’ expectations, both buyers and sellers. We drive defect-free order fulfillment by operating in the most efficient and accurate way through the creation and implementation of quality standards in our FC processes (receive, stow, count, pick, pack & ship) up to our sellers and customers. We lead with empathy to create a safer, more productive, higher performing and more diverse work environment. We commit to empower and support our team members to grow and achieve their aspirations.• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification;
• Strong proficiency in time management skills, coupled with confidence in analyzing and organizing large datasets;
• Previous experience in inventory management, placement, and optimization strategies;
• Proficient in using the full MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL is an advantage;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques;
• Strong analytical abilities, including proficient mathematical and data analysis skills, inventory topography optimization.
• A focused problem-solver and self-starter, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a complex environment
