What is Amazon Strategic Account Services (SAS)?
The SAS team aims to accelerate the full potential of our Sellers, helping them to navigate the increasing complexity of the e-commerce space. Our team provides in-depth strategic consultancy using a data-driven, collaborative, and a Customer-focused approach to achieve commercial goals of Amazon Sellers.

To support our Marketplace Consultants in their Seller interactions, we are looking for a strong Senior Product Manager-Technical (PM-T) to help us envision, design, plan, and deliver product-tech innovations to enable a better CX to our Customers.



Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as the Voice of the Customer from initial concept creation to launch, and subsequent support of the product.
- Drive product development efforts, including research, requirements definition, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, and launch efforts.
- Assist in developing new products by evaluating the business and competitive landscape, understanding customer needs and value drivers.
- Write business and product requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design and development teams.
- Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
- Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to customers
- Research and identify new opportunities
- Present confidently to Amazon senior management as well as other large audiences.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Technical aptitude and experience and agility to learn web-based tools
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast paced environment
- Proven analytical and process improvement skills
- Experience working with software development teams
- Strong background in product management for technical products with a proven history of owning and driving results
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Strong writing and communication skills- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
