Overview

Samsara is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and understanding their unique needs. You excel in building relationships with stakeholders and have experience managing complex sales cycles that involve multiple decision-makers. Your ability to communicate effectively with executives and CXOs sets you apart, as you can articulate the value of IoT solutions in a way that resonates with their operational goals. You are comfortable working in a remote environment and can adapt to different time zones, particularly EST and CST.

Desirable

Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) space is a plus, as it allows you to better understand the products and solutions you will be selling. Familiarity with the industries that Samsara serves, such as transportation, construction, and agriculture, will help you connect with potential clients and address their specific challenges.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You will engage in the entire sales process, from identifying potential leads to closing deals. This includes conducting product demonstrations, managing trials, and negotiating pricing with multiple stakeholders. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure that you are equipped with the latest information and tools to effectively sell our solutions. Your goal will be to build long-lasting relationships with clients, helping them to harness IoT data to improve their operations.
