Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes experience in NPI program management, and you possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills. You are adept at communicating project requirements and schedules, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. Your investigative and quantitative reasoning abilities enable you to tackle complex challenges effectively.

Desirable

An MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, as is experience in hardware operations. Familiarity with hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation, and assembly and test processes will set you apart. You thrive in environments that require strategic thinking and creativity, and you understand that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for all involved.

What you'll do

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. Your role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, and identify risks. You will serve as the primary Operations/Supply Chain interface to development and deployment teams, driving operations for new product development and ensuring smooth transitions to production. You will manage ramp readiness with internal teams and external partners, focusing on material availability, cost, assembly, test, BOM, and capacity readiness. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will be crucial in keeping all players updated on progress and deadlines.

You will have the chance to work on innovative projects that span across offices and time zones, contributing to the development of cutting-edge technology. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Join us in shaping the future of technology and making a meaningful impact on a global scale.
