Who you are

You are eager to start your career in technical support and are ready to embrace a remote-first work environment. As a Technical Support Trainee, you will receive extensive training and mentorship, allowing you to develop your skills in a supportive atmosphere. You have a keen interest in technology and are excited to learn about the software and tools used in clinical trials. Your enthusiasm for problem-solving and troubleshooting will be essential as you assist users with their technical needs.

You are detail-oriented and possess a strong desire to enhance your professional growth. You are open to learning new methodologies and technologies that are widely utilized in the clinical research field. Your ability to communicate effectively will help you build relationships with colleagues and clients alike, ensuring that you can provide the best support possible.

You are comfortable working independently and managing your time effectively, especially during the 2nd shift hours of 4pm to Midnight, Monday to Friday. You are adaptable and ready to take on challenges as they arise, demonstrating resilience and a proactive approach to your work.

Desirable

While not required, any prior experience with customer support or technical troubleshooting will be beneficial. Familiarity with SQL or database management will give you a head start in this role, as you will be working with SQL Server and related technologies.

What you'll do

As a Technical Support Trainee, you will engage in dynamic training that focuses on SQL scripting, data integration, and web applications that power clinical trials for leading pharmaceutical companies. You will gain hands-on experience with SQL Server, bug tracking, and ticketing systems such as Zendesk and Jira. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting technical issues, assisting users with software inquiries, and ensuring that all support tickets are resolved efficiently.

You will work closely with experienced team members who will guide you through the learning process, helping you to develop a solid technical foundation. You will have the opportunity to participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions about improving support processes and user experiences.
