Vonage is seeking a Tech Support Engineer to provide first-class support for their API Support group. You'll leverage your technical skills and communication abilities to ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 1-2 years of technical support experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and at least 1-2 years of experience in Technical Support, ideally within the telecommunications or technology sectors. Your technical savviness is complemented by superior customer relationship skills, allowing you to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders. You possess excellent situational awareness skills, enabling you to prioritize customer needs and tasks efficiently. You are a natural problem-solver with a strong curiosity and a passion for learning, always eager to expand your knowledge and skills in the field.

What you'll do

As a Level 1 Technical Support Engineer at Vonage, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our rapidly growing customer base. You will triage support requests received via email, phone, and chat, ensuring that each customer issue receives the appropriate attention. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate ticket resolution, providing customers with lightning-fast response and resolution times. You will communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure that customers are delighted with the Vonage service. Additionally, you will capture knowledge for customers who prefer to solve their issues independently, contributing to the overall improvement of our support processes.
