Who you are

You are a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with a passion for customer success and a desire to make a real impact. You have experience in customer engagement and possess the technical expertise necessary to act as a trusted advisor for enterprise accounts. Your background enables you to collaborate closely with customer engineers on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to optimize projects effectively. You thrive in a role that blends technical knowledge with operational execution, ensuring that customer needs are met while driving growth for the company.

Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus, as is familiarity with digital manufacturing processes. You understand the importance of building relationships and can proactively identify and address potential manufacturing challenges. Your ability to stay informed about upcoming customer projects and initiatives will ensure alignment with Xometry's goals.

What you'll do

As a Technical Account Manager at Xometry, you will be embedded within our most strategic accounts, acting as an extension of their engineering teams. You will conduct weekly onsite visits to build relationships and understand customer needs deeply. Your role will involve collaborating closely with customer engineers on DFM, optimizing projects for Xometry's platform, and ensuring that all customer requirements are met. You will proactively identify potential manufacturing challenges and work to address them before they impact project timelines. Additionally, you will stay informed about upcoming customer projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with Xometry's offerings, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
