You have a strong background in accounting, with experience in managing financial reporting and operational accounting processes. You understand the importance of compliance with local and US regulations, including SOX, and have a keen eye for detail in financial documentation. You are adept at leading month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring that all financial activities are conducted accurately and efficiently. Your ability to manage daily accounting activities is complemented by your strong organizational skills and your commitment to maintaining compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
As the Accounting Manager at Box, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our Tokyo office. You will lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring that all financial statements are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations. Your role will involve managing daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with local and US laws, including SOX, and will work closely with external auditors during the audit process. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures that support the overall goals of the organization.
