SpaceX is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and develop reliable software solutions for vehicle production. You'll work with JavaScript and Python to streamline quality control processes and optimize spacecraft reusability.

You are a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end technologies. You have experience in developing reliable software solutions that ensure high-quality production processes. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to engage with other engineers to understand mission needs and deliver impactful software. You possess a problem-solving mindset and are motivated to tackle challenges with enthusiasm. You are a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to continuous improvement in your work.

You have a solid understanding of software development life cycles, including development, testing, and support. You are proficient in JavaScript and Python, and you have experience working with REST APIs. You are comfortable with various development tools and frameworks, and you are always looking to learn and adapt to new technologies. You are passionate about making a difference and contributing to a mission that aims to enable human life on Mars.

Desirable

Experience with aerospace or manufacturing software solutions is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with quality control processes and product traceability will be beneficial in this role. You are open to exploring new areas and technologies, and you have a desire to grow your skills in a challenging environment.

What you'll do

As a Full Stack Software Engineer on the Build Reliability team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that enhance the reliability of SpaceX vehicles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline quality control processes and simplify new product introductions. Your role will involve optimizing software for product traceability and ensuring that the systems you create are robust and efficient.

You will own the complete life cycle of the software you develop, from initial design through to deployment and ongoing support. You will engage with other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into functional software solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the success of SpaceX's mission to make space travel more reliable and efficient.

You will also be involved in testing and validating the software you create, ensuring that it meets the high standards expected in the aerospace industry.
