Overview

Xometry is seeking an Account Executive III to manage and convert inbound inquiries from customers. You'll focus on building relationships with Fortune 500 clients and aligning their needs with Xometry's solutions. This role requires strong collaboration skills and a focus on achieving sales goals.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing inbound inquiries and converting them into successful business relationships. Your ability to understand customer needs, especially in the context of prototype parts and production requirements, sets you apart. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with engineering staff, program management, and procurement teams to align with strategic objectives. Your achievement-oriented mindset drives you to exceed annual sales goals, and you are comfortable navigating the complexities of the manufacturing industry.

You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to initiate and build relationships with various stakeholders, including executive management. Your strategic planning abilities allow you to effectively roadmap for enterprise accounts, ensuring that you meet and exceed customer expectations. You are adaptable and can think outside the box, which is essential in a fast-paced and changing environment. You are driven by success and are eager to contribute to the growth of Xometry's sales team.

Desirable

Experience in the manufacturing industry or a related field would be beneficial, as it would enhance your understanding of the market dynamics and customer needs. Familiarity with supply chain management and enterprise sales strategies will also give you an edge in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for selling Xometry's solutions to Fortune 500 customers, focusing on understanding their unique needs and aligning them with our offerings. You will spend a significant amount of time learning about our business and the manufacturing industry, which will enable you to effectively communicate the value of our solutions. You will initiate and build relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering staff and program managers, to ensure that we meet their strategic objectives.

You will set up sales calls and presentations for company executives and engineers, showcasing how Xometry can support their manufacturing needs. Your role will involve strategic planning and roadmapping for enterprise accounts, ensuring that you are proactive in addressing customer requirements. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

Your success will be measured by your ability to convert inbound inquiries into sales and to grow our share of business within existing accounts. You will be expected to think creatively and leverage your understanding of the manufacturing landscape to identify new opportunities for Xometry's solutions.
