You have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in silicon validation software engineering or a related field. Your background includes experience with embedded systems, and you are familiar with SoC and system architecture. You possess knowledge and experience working with board schematics and are adept at using test equipment and analyzers. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating elegant solutions to complex challenges.
Experience with high-speed IO validation is a plus, and you are comfortable defining validation plans and debugging SOC issues. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with firmware, architecture, and design teams to ensure the successful validation of silicon technologies. Your analytical skills enable you to run tests effectively and coordinate with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
As a Silicon Validation Software Engineer at Apple, you will be part of the SOC Silicon Validation team, responsible for developing software to validate high-speed IO IP blocks. You will define validation plans and work on bringing up and debugging SOC issues, ensuring that Apple products can handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions.
