What you'll do

In this pivotal role, you will lead the technical strategy and development for Google Cloud's next generation of AI-powered database intelligence. You will focus on integrating Gemini AI capabilities across database offerings, delivering proactive insights that transform how customers manage and optimize their database environments. Your responsibilities will include defining the long-term technical roadmap for groundbreaking initiatives and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and research leadership to ensure alignment between technology innovation and business objectives.

You will provide architecture and technical direction for your team, leveraging your expertise in cloud application management. Your role will involve strategizing and creating the technical roadmap for building agentic, LLM-powered platforms, analytics, and tooling that enhance Google Cloud Databases experiences. You will influence, guide, mentor, and direct multiple engineering technical leads across various product areas, ensuring that your team is equipped to tackle complex challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
