Who you are

You are a highly motivated individual with a strong background in IT support, particularly in data center operations. You have experience managing hardware issues and providing technical support with minimal supervision. Your ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You are comfortable working in a 24x7 environment and are willing to work non-standard hours to ensure the smooth operation of data center activities. You possess a solid understanding of AWS and Linux, which are crucial for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

Desirable

Experience with server hardware repair and network troubleshooting is a plus. Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes will help you excel in this position. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for resolving hardware and technical issues within the data center. You will manage work and priorities through a ticketing system, ensuring that SLAs are met for all assigned tickets. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing hardware problems, performing repairs on servers, and replacing faulty components. You will also handle routine maintenance tasks related to network hardware and operating systems. Collaborating with multifunctional teams will be essential to complete routine work and ensure adherence to best practices in data center security. You will be responsible for daily incident management, ensuring that all issues are logged and addressed promptly.
