[US-DC] Warehouse Lead

Who you are

You have experience in warehouse operations and are skilled in coordinating team activities to maximize productivity. As a Warehouse Lead, you understand the importance of safety and compliance with GMP and SQF policies. You are capable of providing coaching and guidance to team members, ensuring they perform their tasks effectively. You are certified in operating material handling equipment and are familiar with data entry processes related to inventory management. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to continuous improvement in all areas of warehouse operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team, ensuring that workloads are distributed based on priority and team members' abilities. You will serve as the singular point of contact for communication with the Procurement team and will be responsible for end-of-day communication with the finance team, including scanning receipts. You will train new employees on standard operating procedures, emphasizing safety and compliance with company policies. Additionally, you will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager to enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to hygiene policies. Your leadership will help foster a productive and safe working environment for all team members.
