Job Description

The Amazon Consumables B2B team is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Sr. Product Manager to lead Pricing Strategy for our B2B business. This individual will be responsible to partner with AB product teams to prioritize and execute on the Pricing roadmap for business customers. You are a great fit for this role if you have background performing in depth analyses, uncovering actionable insights, and developing prioritizing a customer focused product roadmap.

In this role, you will own the vision and strategy for how we market and price high volume purchases and define a wholesale pricing strategy where appropriate. You will directly collaborate with Amazon Business Pricing and Customer Vertical teams (tech and non-tech) to create and execute innovative solutions to improve our customer experience and drive profitable growth. You will conceive, build, launch, and scale our pricing strategy, continually evaluating opportunities to drive ongoing improvement and innovation activity.
A successful candidate must be able to work at the strategic level (using purchasing behavior to generate bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (optimizing the discount and item level pricing experiences). This candidate will have a high degree of organization, while simultaneously thinking creatively. They will possess great project management and influencing skills to work across multiple teams to achieve success.

Key job responsibilities
· Create and maintain scalable, repeatable methods of measurement and performance tracking for campaigns
· Manage multiple projects gracefully and balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment
· Partnering with key stakeholders (AB Pricing, Consumables Category Management, Finance, Central Pricing) to define our B2B pricing strategy
· Gaining support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership
· Creating program goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve your objectives

A day in the life
You will work with the AB Pricing product and tech teams to refine and prioritize their roadmaps. From there, you will work with the Consumables business teams to execute and deliver the inputs that improve the business customer pricing experience. - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
