Samsara is seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and understanding their unique needs. You thrive in a role that requires building relationships with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs. Your experience includes managing trials and negotiations, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the value of IoT solutions to potential clients. You are comfortable working in a remote environment and can adapt to different time zones, particularly EST and CST. You understand the importance of the physical operations that power our global economy and are excited about the opportunity to help organizations digitally transform their operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's Connected Operations™ Cloud to mid-sized customers. You will engage in sales processes that typically involve transactions ranging from $20k to $100k, requiring you to manage proof of concepts and trials effectively. You will negotiate pricing and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth sales process. Your role will involve traveling approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and present solutions. You will be expected to leverage your sales skills to build relationships and drive business growth, contributing to the overall success of Samsara's mission to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in physical operations.
