During your internship at Berkadia, you will monitor compliance needs and assist in updating documents to meet regulatory guidelines. You will become knowledgeable about Berkadia's policies related to loan processes and review business proposals for compliance. Additionally, you will support third-party risk management by collaborating with teams to develop effective processes. You will assist the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team in gathering data, updating risk registers, and preparing documentation for periodic risk assessments. Your role will also involve analyzing and summarizing risk trends using dashboards and reports, contributing to the development of presentations and materials for team training and communications. You will help the Risk and Governance team update business continuity documentation, ensuring that process flows, dependencies, and asset lists are current. Furthermore, you will conduct assessments on vendors and maintain records of their performance, while also working with the audit team to track compliance activities. Staying updated on industry changes will be crucial, and you will be encouraged to suggest improvements based on your findings.
