Amazon is hiring an Operations Manager for the MHYD RME Team to oversee facility and administrative activities. You'll coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting of various systems, ensuring operational efficiency in Hyderabad.
You have experience in facility management and administrative activities, with a strong focus on technical maintenance and troubleshooting. You are skilled in managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules. Your background includes working with electrical and mechanical systems, and you are dedicated to supporting production in a safe and customer-focused manner. You understand the importance of energy consumption monitoring and have experience with corrective maintenance tasks. You are proactive in maintaining tools inventory and providing detailed reports on maintenance activities.
Experience with conveyor systems and power distribution systems is a plus. Familiarity with fire safety equipment and minor civil and plumbing maintenance will enhance your candidacy. You are comfortable working in a team environment and have strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with agency staff and vendors.
In this role, you will take charge of overall facility and administrative activities, ensuring that all technical checks are performed according to the PPM schedule. You will attend technical calls for corrective maintenance and coordinate with vendors for systems under warranty or AMC. Your responsibilities will include monitoring energy consumption and performing maintenance on diesel generators. You will troubleshoot and maintain conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical components, and ensure the proper functioning of power distribution systems. You will also oversee minor refurbishment and upgrade works for building finishes and equipment. Regular checks on fire alarms and extinguishers will be part of your routine, along with maintenance tasks such as oiling and greasing of equipment. You will provide daily reports on maintenance activities and manage the tools inventory effectively.
