Job Description

Join a strategic role at the forefront of environmental compliance and sustainability in Europe. As environmental regulations reshape the retail landscape, Amazon is leading the transformation of how thousands of sellers and vendors operate more sustainably across all 10 European stores, starting with 2 regulations in 2022 to orchestrating compliance across 89+ regulations by 2027. Our Environmental Compliance team's mission is to revolutionize how Vendors and Sellers grow their business sustainably by removing compliance barriers through innovation, education, and seamless experiences. We're building profitable services that make environmental compliance simple and achievable for Sellers of all sizes.

As Regulatory Intelligence Lead, you'll be the strategic force behind identifying and analyzing emerging regulations that impact our 3P and Retail business. Working closely with Legal and Public Policy teams, you'll pioneer solutions that simplify compliance and enhance seller experience across the EU marketplace.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple deliverables, passionate about Seller Experience, and has excellent business acumen and communication skills. You are excited about the positive impact circular economy can have for Sellers and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and collaborative environment.


Key job responsibilities
-Architect and implement strategic mechanisms to identify and assess new regulations in partnership with Legal and Public Policy teams
-Deliver detailed insights and impact analyses to leadership
-Proactively identify gaps or blockers to seller experience, propose solutions, and drive implementation across partner teams.
-Drive with PP simplification efforts by building an AI platform for EU
-Communicate updates on key strategic programs and metrics to leaders and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
