We are not an average retailer and this is definitely not your average payroll position reporting in through

We’re looking for exceptional people with outstanding auditing skills, problem solving skills,
payroll process combined with payroll system knowledge, and customer service passion.
Amazon seeks a Payroll Manager with at least five years Philippine payroll and/or accounting experience in a large customer-oriented corporate environment with at least 2+years of experience as a team manager.
Payroll is processed on a semi-monthly and this person will perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility including data compilation and support of the Payroll Team. Responsibilities also include:
• Manage payroll analysts and conduct coaching sessions
• Measure the performance of the team members and create monthly performance metrics
• Create monthly operations report to stakeholders
• Create root cause analysis
• Audit Input data
• Process and pay statutory deductions on time to statutory authorities
• Process new hires, terminations and other additional inputs from Upstream
• Audit Payroll registers and share observations if any
• Finalize payroll before agreed timelines and pay employee on time
• Produce timely responses to employee inquiries
• Record relocation transactions, third party sick pay and processing of year end transactions
• Work with the team, payroll partners and stakeholders in identifying and improving the processes
· Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of Philippine payroll experience with at least 2+years of experience as a team manager.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Flexible to work in shifts

• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong experience with customer service
• Detail oriented
· 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 2+years of experience as a team manager.
· Familiar with sampling methodologies to ensure the correct number of audits are performed.
· Excellent verbal, visual, written and listening skills.
· Basic knowledge of MS SharePoint / SQL to fetch the data needed for analyzing and avoid dependency.
· Deep knowledge of Excel and experience in working with databases.
· Excellent data visualization and analysis skills.
· Ability to create structure and provide leadership in ambiguous situations.
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
· Able to navigate somewhat ambiguous situations, identify and solve for blockers, and know when to escalate to keep the project moving forward.· Payroll experience is preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written skills.
· Strong experience with customer service.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels in a matrix organization.
