CFGI is seeking a Finance and Payroll Administrator to support the finance and accounting functions for their UK and Ireland companies. You'll manage payroll processing, employee benefits, and accounts payable using tools like Microsoft Office and NetSuite.
You have a strong understanding of UK financial regulations and tax laws, which allows you to navigate the complexities of payroll and employee benefits with ease. Your analytical skills and attention to detail enable you to prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring compliance across various accounting functions. You possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with both internal teams and external partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is second nature to you, and you are familiar with accounting software such as NetSuite, which you use to streamline financial processes.
In this role, you will play a critical part in payroll processing, working closely with external advisors to submit, review, and process payroll for employees. You will handle all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring that new hires, leavers, and changes for existing employees are processed accurately and timely. Additionally, you will prepare pension contributions files to send to the benefits broker, ensuring that all employee benefits are managed effectively. You will guide employees through benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans, validating Benefit-in-Kind costs to ensure alignment with payroll processing.
Your responsibilities will also include managing the accounts payable inbox, processing supplier invoices, and initiating payments. You will input cash transactions into the NetSuite GL system and maintain daily cash balance reporting. During the month-end close, you will prepare reconciliation files for cash, fixed assets, prepayments, and other payables, as well as prepare journal entries for cash-related transactions. Your role will require you to collaborate with the US-based finance team, serving as the local resource for coordinating and executing various accounting and payroll-related tasks.
At CFGI, you will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and compliance. We offer a supportive work environment where you can grow your skills and advance your career in finance and payroll administration. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the field, gaining insights and knowledge that will enhance your expertise. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
