What you'll do

As an Applied Scientist on the Microsoft Search Relevance team, you will research and develop advanced machine learning solutions that improve the quality and performance of Microsoft products. You will work closely with other scientists to adapt state-of-the-art vector search algorithms for enterprise use. Your responsibilities will include optimizing query understanding and retrieval algorithms to enhance user satisfaction. You will collaborate with platform teams to evaluate retrieval algorithms at scale, ensuring they meet the needs of hundreds of millions of users. You will also stay informed about community tools and technologies that can be leveraged to improve M365 Copilot Chat and Search.
