What you'll do

As a Senior Engineering Manager at Upstart, you will lead the Capital Platform team in onboarding and launching new lenders and investors. Your role will involve overseeing the end-to-end implementation process, from initial setup and integrations to go-live and execution. You will be responsible for coordinating loan originations and managing loan sales post-origination, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

You will design and build scalable systems that automate core Capital Marketplace workflows, significantly reducing manual effort and unlocking new levels of efficiency. Your leadership will guide the team in developing innovative solutions that enhance the lending experience for both lenders and borrowers.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with finance, accounting, and data stakeholders to ensure that all systems are aligned with business objectives. You will also play a critical role in mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
