Overview

Hootsuite is seeking a Senior Account Executive for Enterprise Sales to develop and close new business with larger enterprise customers. This remote role requires strong sales skills and the ability to manage a full sales cycle.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, with experience in developing and closing new business with larger customers. You thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and are skilled at managing your own pipeline while generating outbound opportunities. Your ability to lead strategic conversations with senior and C-suite executives sets you apart, as you align solutions to their business priorities and drive long-term partnerships.

You are results-driven and have a strong understanding of the sales cycle from opportunity creation to closing. You are adept at crafting and executing industry-specific account growth strategies, ensuring you meet and exceed your quota targets. Your forecasting skills allow you to accurately predict sales activity and revenue attainment, contributing to the overall success of the team.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to present the value of Hootsuite's solutions effectively. You are comfortable leading longer sales cycles and managing complex processes, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective customers. Your ability to navigate the nuances of enterprise sales makes you a valuable asset to the team.

Desirable

Experience in social media management or related industries is a plus, as it allows you to better understand the needs of prospective customers. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms will enhance your efficiency in managing your sales pipeline.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new enterprise customers within landmark industries, achieving and exceeding individual quota targets. You will develop and execute a tailored account growth strategy to identify and generate a robust sales pipeline. Your ownership of quarterly targets will require you to craft and implement strategies that align with Hootsuite's objectives.

You will lead strategic conversations with prospective customers, uncovering their business priorities and aligning Hootsuite's solutions to meet their needs. Your ability to manage complex, global sales processes will be crucial as you navigate negotiations and close deals. You will work closely with the Manager of Enterprise Sales, collaborating to ensure that your efforts contribute to the overall success of the sales team.

Your role will involve accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue attainment, allowing for informed decision-making and strategy adjustments. You will engage in high-impact conversations that drive long-term partnerships, ensuring that Hootsuite remains a trusted social media management partner for enterprise clients.
