VTEX is hiring a Financial Reporting Jr Analyst to ensure the accuracy and compliance of consolidated financial reporting. You'll support various financial reporting processes and engage in technical accounting matters. This role requires knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
You are a detail-oriented individual with a foundational understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles. You have experience or education in finance or accounting, and you are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. You are familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP, and you understand the importance of compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with numbers and financial data. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to enhance efficiencies and decision-making processes within the organization. You are proactive in seeking out opportunities for improvement and are committed to maintaining high standards in your work.
As a Financial Reporting Jr Analyst at VTEX, you will play a key role in preparing monthly consolidation accounting and elimination entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting processes. You will assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies and standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive analyses of variances and performing account reconciliations to support the month-end close procedures. You will also assist in the preparation of technical accounting memorandums, ensuring alignment with IFRS and other accounting frameworks. Additionally, you will support external and internal audits by providing timely and accurate responses to audit queries and maintaining complete documentation. You will be involved in the execution and documentation of SOx internal controls, continuously evaluating and improving accounting processes and reporting to drive efficiency and accuracy. Staying updated on IFRS and other accounting frameworks will be essential as you implement changes as required. You will participate in special projects that enhance the financial reporting standards at VTEX, making a significant impact on the organization.
