You have a strong background in legal compliance, particularly in the technology sector, and are familiar with the regulatory challenges surrounding autonomous vehicles. Your experience includes working closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure that compliance measures are integrated into business strategies. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders effectively. You are proactive in identifying potential legal issues and are skilled at developing strategies to mitigate risks associated with regulatory changes. You understand the importance of collaboration across departments and are comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with public policy and transportation regulations will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. A background in intellectual property law or corporate transactions can also be beneficial, as these areas intersect with compliance in the tech industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance with a complex array of global regulations affecting autonomous driving technology. Waymo provides a competitive salary range of £88,000—£95,000 GBP, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
