SpaceX is hiring an Aviation Specialist for the Starlink Aviation team to monitor and improve the performance of Starlink products in aircraft. You'll work closely with design, test, and manufacturing teams to enhance product quality and customer experience.
You have a strong background in aviation technology and are passionate about enhancing in-flight customer experiences. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and are adept at conducting root cause investigations. Your experience allows you to interface effectively with airline operations and customer support teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. You are detail-oriented and capable of developing and documenting training procedures for internal operators. You understand the importance of certification and contractual deliverables in aviation and are committed to maintaining high standards in troubleshooting and maintenance processes.
As an Aviation Specialist at SpaceX, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for Starlink Aviation, working closely with airline and customer operations. You will develop and document procedures to train internal on-call operators for customer support, remote troubleshooting, and debugging. Your role will involve owning external-facing certification and airline contractual deliverables, ensuring that all troubleshooting and maintenance of Starlink Aviation systems meet industry standards. You will coordinate and support Starlink Aviation installations, helping to manage the lifecycle of the product and improve customer processes. Additionally, you will build, test, and maintain representative ground test setups to reproduce field issues and aid in root-cause investigations. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the overall quality and performance of Starlink products in various airframes and mobile platforms.
