You are an experienced attorney with at least five years of business and legal affairs experience specifically in the development, production, and licensing of unscripted television and documentary films. You have a strong background in negotiating and drafting various deal terms and agreements, including production services agreements and license agreements. You are comfortable working directly with productions, producers, and talent representatives, and you excel at communicating across different departments within a company.
You are intellectually curious and ready to take ownership of all business and legal facets of making a documentary film. You thrive in environments where you can work independently and are eager to tackle the challenges that come with overseeing in-house and third-party productions. Your ability to navigate complex legal landscapes while fostering collaboration makes you a valuable asset to any team.
Experience in the entertainment industry, particularly with documentary films, is a plus.
