Job Description

Want to work in a start-up environment with the resources of Amazon behind you? Do you want to have direct and immediate impact on millions of customers every day? In this role, you will be a technical leader with massive impact. If you are a self-starter, enjoy building large scale distributed systems, and are intrigued by ambiguous problems, look no further.

The Amazon Demand Side Platform, (ADSP) is building the next generation of products and services that will fuel the future growth of Amazon’s ad solutions. Our team is driving innovations to support Amazon and 3rd party advertising across all types of channels at massive scale. This is a chance to be in on a huge opportunity as we put an Amazon twist into online advertising.

We're looking for entrepreneurial, innovative individuals who thrive on solving complex problems. We are investing in a deep technical team to pursue a transformation opportunity around advertising technology.

Key job responsibilities
Our team's mission is to be the central source in the Amazon Advertising stack to vend and distribute fees.

Come with great ideas on how to create self-service, highly scalable, and incredibly fast (think <100ms) apis and systems to deliver ads quickly all across the globe.

A day in the life
Our team is focused on delivering results. We empower our team of leaders to make decisions to unblock themselves and others.

About the team
We hold a high bar, for work and a higher bar for fun! ex: Lots of communicating in Gifs, (G-if, not Jif), [gif of this is fine is used a lot], team events and quick meetings to sort out the details, vs going back over email for days.

Stuck on a small task? No big deal, let's talk through quickly and decide a path forward. Engineers on the ADSP Pricing team are responsible for owning their work, and looping in others when needed - We're a Kanban approach, so we jump to the next up project when ready.

We lean heavily on chat communication vs long and hard-to-parse emails, and we're always interested in newer and faster ways of doing things! - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
