Job Description

At Amazon, we hire hands-on managers at all levels. The leader must be able to dive deep into the details of business, operations and engineering. We need technical, detail-oriented leaders who can lead network-wide initiatives with a bias for action.

The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data and tools to deliver actionable insights that drive improvements in planning accuracy, and has a strong delivery record and experienced in driving execution in a cross-functional environment, backed by analysis and data. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, relishes working with large transactional volumes and big data and enjoys the challenge of highly complex, and sometimes ambiguous, business context. You will work cross-functionally to ensure that decisions are made and completed, which will ensure our operations have the volume to run as efficiently as possible. You will challenge the unknown and drive improvement into key areas of our business.

Key job responsibilities
• Building Labor and Capacity Plans for Transportation operation, developing the network strategy
• Monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
• Has knowledge and experience in transportation operations as well as excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Finds practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality
• Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, designing process and system solutions, writing detailed functional specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule; as well as analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection and communicating results throughout the organization
• Ability to utilize exceptional problem-solving, and communication skills to influence business and technical audiences
• Helps develop long-term department strategies and significantly influences the cross-company project development and delivery processes and standards.
• Working with data and technology teams to develop new tools and systems to support the growth of the business.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment. Candidates must be flexible to work overnight shifts and/or weekends if needed. Availability of 5-10%- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- English Intermediate-Advanced (B2+)
- Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
