VTEX is hiring an Accounting Intern to support the International Controllership team in financial operations. You'll gain hands-on experience in accounting processes and compliance activities. This role requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and English communication skills.
You are currently studying Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting, with an expected graduation in 2026 or later. You possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, enabling you to handle financial data effectively. Your communication skills in English are advanced, and knowledge of Spanish would be a plus. You demonstrate initiative and proactivity in your work, paying close attention to detail and maintaining a high sense of quality. You are self-motivated and thrive in an environment that offers significant autonomy and a flat hierarchy.
As an Accounting Intern, you will support the accounting closing process, focusing on cash and cash equivalents, financial results, and capital stock analysis. You will maintain the chart of accounts and assist with general operational activities. Your role will involve preparing financial reports and documentation during the monthly closing cycle. You will contribute to SOX compliance activities by following established internal procedures and conducting ad hoc analyses. Additionally, you will collaborate with the team to improve and standardize processes that impact financial statements, gaining valuable insights into international financial operations.
