Overview

Verkada is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive new business and manage the full sales cycle. You'll build a deep understanding of Verkada's products and exceed sales quotas. This role requires strong sales experience and a proactive approach.

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in technology or security solutions — you understand the nuances of the sales process and can navigate complex customer needs. You are highly motivated and driven to exceed sales quotas, demonstrating success in previous roles. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with potential clients and articulate the value of Verkada's offerings. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and success. You are adaptable and can quickly learn about new products and industry trends, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to your clients. You are results-oriented, always looking for ways to improve your sales techniques and strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will source and close new business, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting for new customers to hosting online demos and creating proposals. You will maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting, ensuring that you are on track to meet your goals. You will aggressively exceed targets consisting of outbound phone calls, emails, online demos, and trials every quarter. As a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and how Verkada's products can meet them. You will collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging and product offerings. You will participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your sales skills and product knowledge, positioning yourself as a subject matter expert in the field.
