Job Description

Amazon Hardlines Private Brands is looking for a talented, smart and enthusiastic Product Manager to own a category under the Amazon Basics brand in Europe. Private Brands is a long-term growth opportunity for Amazon and we are seeking leaders with strong ownership and an appetite to Think Big.

You will need to:
· Understand market segment trends and landscape for your category to create strategic and immediate operating plans for your category
· Have a strong grasp of P&L input levers
· Obsess over the customer feedback on Amazon Basics products
· Thrive in ambiguous work environments
· Be a smart, hard-working and creative person who loves products, loves solving difficult problems and "getting it done"
· Be comfortable collaborating and influencing team members including product development, sourcing, supply chain, legal, and product compliance
· Have strong project management abilities to drive scalable initiatives on behalf of the Private Brands business

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Delivering top and bottom line growth for the categories under your remit, managing the business to weekly, monthly and annual P&L goals
· Creating a data-driven long-term strategy for your category
· Identifying new product development opportunities and current products in need of refresh and collaborate with our product development team to bring them to life
· Driving the success of new product launches
· Managing cross functional projects aimed at growing and optimizing the overall Hardlines Private Brands business

About the team
Amazon Private Brands’ (APB) mission is to make every day better with the most trusted products on the planet. We offer products that deliver superior value (quality, price, convenience, sustainability) to our customers, that they can purchase with confidence. In Europe the Hardlines Private Brands team manages the Amazon Basics business across all European marketplaces.Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or retail/ecommerce management
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholdersExperience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
Master's degree or equivalent
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience as a product manager or owner
Experience in managing a P&L
