Carvana is seeking a Brake and Tire Auto Technician to perform light maintenance and repairs on vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and offers competitive pay.
You have at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. As a Brake & Tire Technician, you are comfortable performing light maintenance and repairs, including changing brakes and tires. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, ensuring that every vehicle you service meets high safety and quality standards. You are open to learning and growing in your role, especially if you are starting in an entry-level position. You appreciate the opportunity for training programs that will help you develop your skills and advance your career.
In this role, you will perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, focusing on brake pads, calipers, rotors, and tire installations. You will also be responsible for conducting wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Your work will take place in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, where you will utilize state-of-the-art tools to complete your tasks efficiently.
You will collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure that all vehicles are prepared for sale, contributing to Carvana's mission of providing high-quality used cars to customers. You will be expected to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
As you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to take on more complex repairs and maintenance tasks, further enhancing your skills and knowledge in automotive mechanics. You will also participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
