Cloudflare is seeking a Network Deployment Engineer to focus on the build-out and expansion of their global network. You'll collaborate with various teams and vendors to enhance network performance and security. This role requires a strong understanding of network engineering principles.
You have a solid background in network engineering, with experience in deploying and managing large-scale networks. You understand the intricacies of network protocols and have a keen eye for optimizing performance and security. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Site Reliability Engineering and Network Engineering. You are committed to continuous learning and adapting to new technologies in the networking space.
Experience with Cloudflare's services or similar platforms is a plus. Familiarity with working alongside hardware vendors and ISPs will help you excel in this role. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and have a knack for troubleshooting complex network problems.
In this role, you will be responsible for the build-out and expansion of Cloudflare's global network. You will work closely with the Site Reliability Engineering team to ensure that network performance meets the high standards expected by Cloudflare's diverse customer base. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various vendors and partners to implement network solutions that enhance service delivery. You will also engage in monitoring network performance and making recommendations for improvements based on data-driven insights. Your role will involve troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
