Box is seeking an Engineering Manager II for their Search Platform team to drive the development of foundational components for the Box Content Cloud. You'll lead a team focused on enhancing query and search functionalities. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing engineering teams.
You have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, with at least 5 years of experience in software development and a strong understanding of search technologies. You excel in fostering collaboration and driving team performance, ensuring that your team delivers high-quality solutions that meet business needs. Your leadership style is inclusive and empowering, allowing team members to thrive and contribute their best work. You are comfortable working in an AI-first environment and are eager to leverage AI technologies to enhance product offerings.
Experience with content management systems or cloud-based platforms is a plus. Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts will help you drive innovation within the team. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies, which will enable you to guide your team through evolving challenges in the tech landscape.
As the Engineering Manager II for the Search Platform at Box, you will lead a team responsible for developing and optimizing the query and search functionalities of the Box Content Cloud.
