Overview

Google is hiring a Software Engineer II to work on Wearables and Health Data Governance. You'll develop software solutions and collaborate on innovative projects using programming languages like Python, Java, and JavaScript. This role requires at least 1 year of software development experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience and have at least 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript. You have a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, and you are familiar with automating business processes. Your experience with Google infrastructure, including compute infrastructure, server platforms, Spanner, and Flume, is a plus. You are versatile and display leadership qualities, eager to tackle new challenges across the full-stack as technology continues to evolve.

Desirable

A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field would be advantageous. You have a keen interest in information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments and are enthusiastic about driving project execution and innovation.
