Carta is seeking a Senior Principal Product Designer to create innovative designs for complex customers in private equity and private markets. You'll leverage your design expertise to enhance user experiences and drive product strategy. This role requires significant experience in product design.
You have over 5 years of experience in product design, specifically in creating user-centered designs that solve complex problems. Your portfolio showcases your ability to elevate user experiences through thoughtful design solutions. You are proficient in Figma and have a strong understanding of design systems and user research methodologies. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life. You are passionate about understanding user needs and translating them into intuitive designs that enhance product functionality. You are comfortable presenting your design concepts to stakeholders and incorporating feedback to refine your work. You believe in the power of equity ownership and are excited about the opportunity to shape the future of private market infrastructure.
As a Senior Principal Product Designer at Carta, you will lead the design efforts for our Fund Administration platform, focusing on the needs of fund CFOs and other strategic customers. You will conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement, ensuring that our designs meet the highest standards of usability and accessibility. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to define the product vision and roadmap, translating complex requirements into elegant design solutions. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate your design ideas. You will also mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles. Your work will directly impact the user experience of our platform, helping to unlock the power of equity ownership for more people in more places.
