Contentful is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to quantify product success and drive strategic decisions through data insights. You'll work with SQL and statistical modeling to design analytical frameworks. This role requires strong data manipulation skills and a commercial mindset.
You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, demonstrating a strong ability to manipulate data and apply statistical methods to derive actionable insights. Your commercial mindset allows you to connect data analysis with business outcomes, ensuring that your recommendations drive real impact. You excel at translating complex data stories into clear insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, making you a key player in cross-functional collaborations.
Your expertise includes designing and maintaining analytical frameworks such as funnel analysis and cohort analysis, which are essential for linking user behavior to customer value and commercial success. You are adept at establishing robust, automated measurement systems that guide strategic decisions across the organization. You thrive in environments where you can own the analytical framework and continuously improve it to meet evolving business needs.
Experience with tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel would be a plus, as would familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. You are comfortable with ad-hoc deep-dive analysis but prioritize creating scalable solutions that can be utilized across teams.
In this role, you will own the analytical framework that connects product adoption to customer impact and business success. You will collaborate with Product Development and Customer Experience teams to design and implement repeatable, scalable analytical solutions. Your primary focus will be on creating frameworks that inform high-stakes strategic decisions, ensuring that the organization can leverage data effectively.
You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses to identify and prioritize opportunities for product development, using your skills to find patterns in user behavior that can enhance customer conversations. Your work will involve designing analytical frameworks that provide insights into retention and expansion metrics, ultimately guiding the company's strategic direction.
